Role & responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, ensuring they meet project milestones, quality standards, and budget requirements.
• Oversee daily construction operations, including resource allocation, material procurement, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure all work meets project specifications and building codes.
• Enforce site safety regulations and implement comprehensive safety protocols.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, budget status, and potential challenges.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Proactively address any construction issues, delays, or change orders, implementing effective solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced construction project manager - Civil to join our team in Kampala. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction on a designated project site, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. The Construction Project Manager will play a key role in leading and developing the project team, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
