Role & responsibilities
Responsible for Expros Electrical & Instrumentation engineering activities within a designated Engineering business area. Undertake general Engineering tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager to enable the progress and completion of related projects.
Preferred candidate profile
Produce engineering documentation and check for compliance with industry standards, Project standards and Expros policies and procedures e.g. SLD, Load list, block diagrams, Data Sheets, Schematics, calculations, hook-up drawings
Preparation of design basis, philosophies, instrument selection, studies/reports and recommendations for Onshore and Offshore E&I systems for oil & gas processing plants (upstream)
Understanding of Engineering and design for DCS, ESD, PLC, F&G and PA/GA systems as well as RTU/SCADA systems
Preparation of specifications & data sheets for field instruments, analyzers, ESD valves, motor operated valves and be responsible for technical bid evaluations and vendor document review in accordance with project requirements
Preparation/developing of technical data sheet for tendering and proposal, ensuring the compliance with process requirements for codes and standards.

Vendor selection & identification suitable for executing the work safely, cost effective and compliant.
Actively participate in Engineering meetings with internal and external parties
Upload information to Engineering databases and use technical software packages as required
Liaise with and work within a multi discipline team to ensure any deliverables are fit for purpose or in-line with project requirements
Manage project interfaces with third party suppliers and clients to ensure delivery and agreed standard of work as per project /plan
Perform any trials or simulations as required by project
Keep abreast of advances in technology or methodology
Liaise with internal and external departments as and when required to ensure all questions and queries are resolved and liaise with manager on any issues or concerns
Travel locally and internationally as needed and provide site support during installation, commission and operations
Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expros reputation is minimized. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest
Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes and systems. Takes an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures
Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules
Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Degree in engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation)
10-15 years work experience within a related industry preferably oil and gas process upstream and midstream.
2-3 Relevant project executed as per the above requirement.
Proficient in basic use of technical software packages such as Auto CAD / Single line Diagrams
Relevant certification on HV/LV power
