Project Manager

Overall Purpose of the job

To lead and direct a team of technical professionals to coordinate and support various project activities. Ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within financial boundaries. Facilitate the free flow of information between departments within the Company and external parties to achieve departmental efficiency, cost reduction and the provision of expert technical assistance

Key Activities and Accountabilities:

1. Manager Projects and Proposals -will work for the Production Systems- APAC region, executing activities across all phases of the project including Conceptual Studies, FEED; Detailed Design & Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Installation, Commissioning and Operation

2. Coordinate the activities of a project team to complete projects in a safe manner on schedule with budget constraint

complying to policies and procedures and reporting to Senior Engineering Manager / Product Line Manager

3. Coordinate the Proposal activities and prepare the proposals for the Production Portfolio for Asia Pacific. This includes direct coordination with Sales / Business Development Team, Engineering Team, Supply chain Team . Directly reporting to Senior Engineering Manager / Product Line Manager ger

4. Liaise with the team members, internal / external parties as and when required to ensure discussion takes place achieving

effective communication to achieve task completion as per plan and budget

5. Manage and support Product Line Operations as per requirement and support country Managers

6. Develop cost effective solutions, evaluate alternatives and collaborate with client to confirm requirements and ensure

acceptance. Responsible for Day-to-day communications with client as applicable

7. Good Knowledge on Product line operation with respect to process Packaging, Fabrication, Procurement and construction activities required

8. Overall knowledge on Multidisciplinary activities with respect to Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical , Instrumentation Process Safety , Structure and Marine is essential

9. Manager Projects & Proposals is responsible for QHSE Activities and same to be reported to Senior Engineering Manager/Product Line Manager and QHSE Regional Team

10. All commercial aspects to be reported to Senior Engineering Product Line Manager and Sales Manager. Required input to be finalized with Regional sales Manager as required

11. Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expros reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro’s compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest

12. Actively adhere to and ensure compliance with applicable Quality policies, procedures, processes & systems. Take an active

part in quality improvement processes. Act on reported deficiencies and approve deviations from standard procedures as

appropriate

13. Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures,and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others’ safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations

14. Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required

15. Extensive Knowledge of Costing and market values with respect to Production equipment /System items is essential for this position

16. Capable of formulating process solutions and schemes during bid stage
