Job Description

1. Plan , Establish and formalise work schedules and ensure the testing of samples are completed within stipulated Turn Around Time .

2. Provide day-to-day functional supervision of high complexity test performance by the staff.

3. To plan and manage research activities, validate methods so as to increase the scope of the laboratory.

4. Maintain Functionality of departmental equipment and maintain inventories of reagents

5. Assume responsibilities for the maintenance of supplies, reagents and equipment by coordinating with procurement teams and maintain data on the resources, chemical, glassware etc., required for smooth functioning of the lab.

6. Review, maintain and update relevant technical documents as per the norms , compliance and Data mining requirements

7. Follow the 5S principals to keep the laboratory in an orderly manner.

8. To represent the section for audits/assessments conducted. Close the non-conformance observed during the audits and report to Quality Manager.

9. Coordinate with Quality team to implement and monitor quality metrics. To assist Quality team in Quality check program assure the quality of results by various quality checks as per the SOPs set by the management.

10. Coordinate with Sales and Customer Support/ Interface Teams to resolve customer compliant and document the RCA CAPA for the same.

11. Co-ordinate with Quality Teams to verify in house calibration checks, performance checks conducted by analysts and to maintain valid calibration status of each equipment and intermediate checks and its relevant records.

12. To arrange for Annual maintenance contracts and its timely updating with out any lapse. To arrange break down visits and/or visits required by service engineer in an unforeseen reasons, on top priority, to ensure smooth working.
