Qlik Architect

• Solution Architecture : Lead the design and architecture of QlikView and QlikSense-based BI solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with other enterprise systems. Define best practices for Qlik development and data modeling.
• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in the implementation of Qlik-based solutions. Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Data Modeling & Integration : Oversee the design and optimization of data models in Qlik to handle large volumes of data. Lead the integration of Qlik with various data sources (SQL databases, cloud-based data storage, APIs, etc).
• Performance Optimization : Identify and implement strategies to optimize the performance of Qlik applications, including data load times, visualization rendering, and overall application speed.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure the final product meets user needs.
• End-to-End Development : Oversee the entire lifecycle of Qlik solutions, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest Qlik technologies and industry trends. Lead the introduction of new tools, techniques, and best practices to improve overall BI capabilities.
• Data Governance & Security : Implement and enforce data governance practices, ensuring data security, privacy, and integrity in Qlik solutions.
• Documentation : Provide comprehensive documentation for solutions, including architecture diagrams, data models, technical specifications, and user manuals.
• Project Management : Assist in the planning and execution of projects, including timeline estimation, resource management, and risk management.

• Experience : 10-12 years of experience in BI solution architecture, with at least 7-8 years of hands-on experience in QlikView and QlikSense development, including advanced data modeling, scripting, and visualization.

Technical Skills :

• Expert-level proficiency in QlikView and QlikSense, including advanced Qlik scripting (QlikScript), data transformation, and visualization best practices.
• Extensive experience designing and optimizing data models in Qlik for large, complex datasets.
• Strong knowledge of Qlik integration with various data sources, including SQL databases, REST APIs, and cloud data platforms.
• Expertise in performance tuning for Qlik applications, ensuring optimal performance under high data volume scenarios.
• Familiarity with Qlik extensions, mashups, and custom objects to enhance QlikSense functionality.
• Proficient in BI tools, data warehousing concepts, and database design (eg, SQL, Data Lake, etc).

• Architectural Design : Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance BI architectures. Familiarity with cloud-based Qlik environments (Qlik Cloud) is a plus.
• Leadership & Communication : Proven experience in leading technical teams, guiding them to deliver high-quality solutions. Excellent communication skills for liaising with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Problem-Solving : Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex data and performance issues in Qlik applications.
• Project Management : Experience in managing large BI projects, including resource planning, timelines, and delivery. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Data Governance & Security : In-depth understanding of data security, privacy, and governance practices related to BI solutions.
