Job description

As an AV Design Engineer and AV Presales professional, you will be responsible for designing and architecting audio-visual (AV) solutions and providing pre-sales support to clients

You will work closely with sales teams, customers, and project managers to understand client requirements and develop innovative AV designs that meet their needs. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, system configurations, and customer consultations. This role requires a strong technical background in AV technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

AV Solution Design:

• Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and project managers to gather requirements and understand project goals.
• Design and engineer comprehensive AV solutions that align with client needs, budget, and industry standards.
• Create detailed AV system diagrams, equipment lists, and installation plans.
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for AV technologies and equipment.

Pre-sales Support:

• Assist sales teams with technical expertise during the pre-sales process.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase AV capabilities and features. 
• Collaborate with clients to understand their AV requirements and provide consultative guidance.
• Develop system configurations, quotes, and proposals based on client specifications.

Technical Consultation:

• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients regarding AV technologies, standards, and best practices.
• If required online site visits along with technical team and assess existing AV infrastructure for integration and compatibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address technical queries and provide solutions to client concerns.

Project Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers and installation teams to ensure successful execution of AV designs.
• Provide input and support during the project planning and implementation stages.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source AV equipment and ensure timely delivery.

Certification:

• Industry Certifications: AVIXA CTS / CTS-D / CTS-I
• OEM Certifications: Crestron, Extron, Kramer, Harman, Shure, Sennheiser, Biamp, Clearone, Cisco, Poly, Logitech, ZOOM, Microsoft Teams, Aurora..Etc
