What the Candidate Will Do:
As part of the Everest leadership team, reporting to the CEO, you will head the Driver Acquisition function. This role will manage a team of Sr Managers & Associates and will be responsible for Driver Acquisitions across India; ensuring we have an always-on active Driver supply to meet the growing vehicles base. The ideal candidate will collaborate very closely with central & regional teams to shape, drive, and execute Driver Supply strategy across the region. The core responsibilities include:
- Supply Forensics: Manage regional supply governance including weekly & monthly business reviews. Conduct deep dives into business performance (Driver Acquisitions performance across channels & cities) to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analytics: Leverage fleet management system & database to monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across Channels & Cities & using insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop your team, fostering a high-performance culture and elevating the output of team members. Guide & support the regional teams to deliver on daily/weekly Driver Acquisition targets.
- Thought Leadership: This involves identifying emerging opportunities, risks, and market shifts to Source Drivers at scale and build Driver Sourcing as Capability for the Organisation.
- Stakeholder Management: The goal is to foster collaboration across departments, maintain alignment with strategic priorities, and ensure that all parties remain motivated and focused on the common goal of Driver Acquisition, despite potential challenges or competing interests.
- Project Management: Taking full ownership of planning, executing, and delivering multiple complex projects (i.e. Rural Sourcing, Perf Marketing & Field Sales Channels) that significantly influence the long-term success and growth of the business.
- Business Planning: Plan for new driver acquisition at a channel level basis expected market churn and vehicle growth.
- Process Optimization: Standardize and streamline operational processes to ensure scalability and efficiency. Continuously analyze data to identify areas of improvement and implement actionable solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of Supply Ops/Sourcing/Sales experience with a solid understanding of the blue-collar hiring ecosystem in India.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, managing diverse and operationally focused teams
- Strong sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving growth targets. Experience in designing and executing growth strategies with both short-term impact and long-term scalability.
- Exceptional ability to balance detail-oriented planning with quick execution to meet deadlines.
- Ability to inspire and lead large teams toward achieving ambitious goals.
- Proficiency in building cross-functional relationships to drive organizational success.
