Opening_ Manager - Client & Warehouse Operations -FMCG Distribution

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Client & Warehouse Operations to oversee and manage multiple client accounts and warehouses for FMCG distribution across India. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless coordination between clients, warehouses, and distribution teams while maintaining high standards of service delivery, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Account Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for multiple FMCG clients, ensuring their requirements are understood and addressed effectively.
• Oversee the Profit and Loss (P&L) for each warehouse and branch, ensuring operational costs are efficiently managed.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and long-term collaboration.
• Monitor client performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with clients to plan and forecast inventory, ensuring timely stock replenishments.
• Handle escalations and provide prompt resolutions to client issues.

Warehouse Management:

• Oversee the operations of multiple warehouses across different locations, ensuring adherence to operational standards.
• Ensure proper inventory management practices, including FIFO, LIFO, and batch tracking, are followed.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, processes, and workforce management to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and shrinkage control.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all warehouse facilities.

Distribution and Logistics Coordination:

• Work with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to clients.
• Plan and manage distribution strategies to optimize cost and service levels.
• Oversee last-mile delivery performance and resolve any bottlenecks.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor warehouse and account management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Conduct regular training sessions to improve team skills in warehouse operations and client handling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales and IT for smooth operations.

Reporting and Analytics:

• Prepare and present periodic operational reports to senior management, including insights and improvement plans.
• Utilize data analytics tools to monitor warehouse performance and client account profitability.
• Recommend strategies for cost optimization and process improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in business management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in client management and warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG distribution.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and warehouse technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple clients and warehouse operations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
