Job Description: Manhattan Warehouse Management Specialist

Location: Preferably UK

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manhattan Warehouse Management Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting and optimizing our complex warehouse operations utilizing the Manhattan system. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, experienced with Manhattan's WMS, and capable of diving into our operational challenges to swiftly resolve issues and enhance system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Collaborate closely with warehouse operations teams to understand and address specific issues and challenges.

Configure and customize the Manhattan WMS to align with operational requirements and enhance efficiency.

Implement system upgrades, patches, and integrations as necessary to improve performance and functionality.

Conduct thorough testing of system changes and enhancements to ensure stability and reliability.

Train warehouse staff on system usage, best practices, and new functionalities.

Develop and maintain documentation including system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in WMS technology to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management System (WMS) is essential.

Proven track record of successfully implementing and supporting WMS solutions in complex warehouse environments.

Strong technical skills including system configuration, troubleshooting, and integration.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Prior experience working directly from warehouse operations is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.

Certification in Manhattan WMS or equivalent is a plus.

Experience with multi-site or international warehouse operations.

Familiarity with SQL or other query languages for data analysis and reporting.
