Role Description :

• Works with both the SAP Competence Centre, Global Key Business Users and Local Project Teams to ensure a full identification of Requirements and the Optimal Design and Delivery of Solutions based on standard SAP, using the skils of the various team members to deliver the Solutions.
• Supports the documentation, alignment of change requests and the definition of the expected functional test outcomes
• Overall MVP planning and setting of Deliverable Dates in conjunction with the Programme Director, the SAP Competence Centre PM and Local Country PMs.
  Progress tracking and reporting, both internally and externally. Identification, registration and monitoring of Issues, Risks and Dependencies
• Participate in regular Project and Programme Level meetings and reviews
• Ensures all quality criteria for every requirement and evaluates according to importance and/or stability
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal designs, reports, analyze project data and share with leadership on weekly meetings.
• Work with business team, leadership teams and Local SAP PMs in execution of projects and delivery
• Proven work experience as a PMO or part of project/program management team ( 5+ years)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel/ Power Point)
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodology and Project Management Tools
• Ability to work independently but also as a part of a team
• Experience in Stakeholders management, high level of communication skills
• proactive attitude, ability and desire to learn new things, design solutions, solve issues in a quick-paced environment

• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the teams and Solutions under development
• Works with both the SAP Competence Centre, Global Key Business Users and Local Project Teams to ensure a full identification of Requirements and the Optimal Design and Delivery of Solutions based on standard SAP, using the skils of the various team members to deliver the Solutions. Supports the documentation, alignment of change requests and the definition of the expected functional test outcomes
• Ensures all quality criteria for every requirement and evaluates according to importance and/or stability
• Participation in projects of various sizes (TTB – transform the business, e.g. Global-Template rollouts)
• Ensure delivery of maximum business value through the exploitation of SAP Standard functionality and configuration objects to achieve the desired end result
• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal designs for developers via controlled design documents.
• Work with business team and Local SAP PMs to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing
• Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with application components and ensure Essence Compliance
• Lead and participate in progress reviews at appropriate stages of development

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Education/Qualification:

• A degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems or IT Consulting or equivalent or a related discipline; or equivalent work experience
• Prince 2 or PMI or equivalent

Knowledge & Experience:

• 5+ years of SAP Project Management or Team Lead
• Significant experience of Service Management, Solution Design and Development and Quality Management techniques gained through IT program / project delivery and in an IT support environment.
• Experience of working within multi-location teams
• Specific prior experience in applying Global Processes and Configuration into local Companies, allowing for localisation where required but sticking to the overall Business Process.
