Job Overview:

The Programm Manager for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle management of the companys IT asset disposal process. This role involves planning, organizing, and executing ITAD initiatives to ensure compliance, maximize efficiency, and mitigate risks associated with data security and environmental standards. The Programm Manager will collaborate with various departments, manage vendor relationships, and ensure that all ITAD activities align with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the ITAD program, from strategic planning to execution.

- Ensure compliance with data security and environmental regulations throughout the ITAD lifecycle.

- Develop and maintain relationships with ITAD vendors and partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory compliance.

- Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams to design and implement ITAD policies and procedures.

- Conduct audits and assess the effectiveness of the ITAD program, providing continuous improvement recommendations.

- Manage budgeting and forecasting for ITAD operations.

- Oversee reporting on ITAD metrics, including cost savings, asset recovery, and compliance rates.

- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of IT assets through all stages of the disposition process.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Data Security Compliance Rate: Percentage of IT assets disposed of with certified data erasure or destruction.

2. Asset Recovery Rate: Percentage of disposed IT assets that result in recovered value.

3. Timely Disposal Rate: Percentage of assets disposed of within target timelines.

4. Vendor Compliance Rate: Adherence to SLAs with ITAD vendors, including certifications and regulatory standards.

5. Cost Savings Achieved: Cost reductions achieved through efficient ITAD practices.

6. Customer Satisfaction: Feedback from internal stakeholders regarding the ITAD process.

Qualifications Required:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT asset management, disposal, or IT program management.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified IT Asset Disposal (CITAD) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.

- Technical Skills: Knowledge of IT asset management systems, data security standards, and ITAD software solutions.

- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.

- Project Management: Strong project management skills, with experience in budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.

- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; strong leadership abilities to drive cross-functional teams.
