Head - Quality

Job Purpose

Drive and elevate lead quality across the Region by ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, implementing robust systems, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Share best practices and operational insights across all Units within the Region to standardize processes, optimize performance, and achieve consistent, high-quality results.

Role & responsibilities

• Accountable for delivering Quality products to customers in the Region
• Regularly monitor Adherence to Quality standards, systems, policies and processes monitor to Quality reviews for each units
• Approve /Escalate as required Quality norms and standards for every project
• Approve / Escalate as required Quality norms arising out of customer requests
• Functionally support Unit Quality Heads with guidance and technical expertise as required
• Liaise with Global Quality and process improvement Head around best practices Liaise regularly with regional Manufacturing Head and regional Head around Quality issues
• Ensure continuous Quality process improvement as per Global norms
• Ensure training of the Quality team at units Ensure that learning/ best practices are shared across units
• Responsible for Development of regional Quality plan and budget
• Develop guidelines for response to customer feedback
• Directly handle any customer escalations in the Region
• Ensure timely customer complaint resolution
• Ensure uniformity in Quality standards across units
• Conduct regular audits, identify gaps and take corrective measures at all units across the Region
• Support Unit Supply Chain in timely supplier technical evaluation
• Quality Budget
• Quality related losses and process standardisation
• Customer Order Priorities

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Quality
• BE/BTech (Mech/IE/Chemical/Polymer)
• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Six Sigma Certification
