DGM / GM - Quality

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, Construction Management, or related field.
• A Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), PMP (Project Management Professional), or other relevant certifications are desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in quality management within the real estate or construction sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Brief role:

• To formulate and implement the best practices in Quality Assurance (Quality Assurance)/ Quality Control (QC) and continuous improvements in construction procedure and technologies
• Ensuring that best quality of construction is being maintained in accordance with company's Quality Standards & Customer Satisfaction Strategy
• Implementing quality management systems, conducting inspections, managing project quality control, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role will require to work closely with senior management, project teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and ensure timely delivery of high-quality real estate developments.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for the organization, ensuring adherence to industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Identify and address any potential issues and update Management of deviations and corrective actions which needs to be taken to ensure future lapses do not occur in Quality Standards
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure that quality standards are integrated into project planning, execution, and final delivery.
• Perform regular site visits to assess quality control processes and ensure compliance with predefined quality standards and specifications.
• Ensure all real estate projects comply with local building codes, environmental laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant legislation.
• Prepare reports for senior management on project quality performance, risks, and recommendations for corrective action.
• Monitor and manage risks related to quality issues, providing strategies for mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure implementation of various SOPs, processes checklists, reporting system etc. are being followed at site to ensure minimum wastage occurs and minimum amount or no rework needs to be carried out and project schedule is not hampered due quality issues
• Conduct / Organise quality related trainings & inputs to related staff for continuous improvements in quality standards and ensuring best practises are being followed to achieve desired quality standards as per Company Objectives.
• Inspection of plants & manufacturing units of vendors / contractors prior to shortlisting / finalising contract to ensure that the production is in adherence to quality & processes are as per desired standards and providing feedback to concern about the same.
• Undertake various research to keep abreast about developments in the industry and advice Management of latest processes, techniques as a part of continuous improvement & learning
• Attend review meetings, to highlight quality related issues and provide solutions where ever required. Track and monitor whether the same is being implemented for obtaining desired quality Standards
