Senior Technical Bid Manager-Cyber Security

General Description:

A senior bid manager specializing in cyber security will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals in response to RFP/RFI/RFQ, and supporting sales operations in presales activities such as preparing and conducting presentations and gathering requirements from the client.

Experience Requirements:

• 8+ years in technology; 4+ years in cybersecurity.
• 2+ years in bid management (proposals) and presales consulting.
• Experience in the GCC market is a plus.
• Strong expertise in SOC operations, SIEM systems, and Security Managed Services (sales & operations).
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity standards: ISO 27000, NIST, COBIT, CIS Controls, HITRUST, FISMA.
• Hands-on presales experience: sales pitches, presentations, technical discussions, and requirement gathering.
• Strong understanding of sales & tendering processes in technology firms.
• Experience working with partners, handling technical discussions, and bridging gaps.
• Ability to develop bid proposals for SOC, Infrastructure Security, VAPT, App Security, Cloud & Data Security, Managed Security Services.
• Proficient in preparing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, including SoW, technical solutions, commercial details, and project timelines.
• Ability to work with engineering teams, stay updated on industry trends, and configure solutions.
• Skilled in proposal writing, demos, presentations, and PoCs with minimal assistance.
• Experience in strategic bid planning, bid briefs, workshare agreements, and partner collaboration.
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams (sales, technical, legal) for bid management.
• Expertise in sales collaterals, quality assurance, and continuous improvement of the bid process.
• Keeps up with emerging cybersecurity trends to enhance bid strategies.

Other Requirements

• Willing to travel to Qatar (10%) for demos and client engagements.
• Ability to manage 6+ engagements simultaneously (bids, presentations, requirement gathering, etc.).
