Executive- Engineering Purchase

Role & responsibilities

• Order processing for negotiated and non-negotiated products/services within specific commodities as directed by Head of Procurement.
• Maintenance, repair and operations procurement, Import procurement, contracts, services, AMC/CMC/ARC.
• Develops contracting strategies and processes for tendering requests for proposals & reviewing of vendor proposals, and negotiating contracts that result in the best value possible.
• Generate purchase order for supplies and all type of inventory and non-current assets Through SAP for CAPEX / OPEX items.
• Record of purchases of all type of supplies and responsible for their payment on due date.
• Analysing base cost variances, prevent uncontrolled expenses escalation and drive correction and costs increase mitigation.
• Development and implementation of strategy to meet transparency in procurement process.
• Challenge scope specifications to determine where unnecessary costs can be eliminated, and more value can be achieved.
• Project specific responsibility to oversee receipt of bids, spreadsheet development/Execution, conducting of scope review meeting with competitive bidders to confirm that bidders have complied with scope requirement, alternates and unit pricing, manpower, schedules and logistic plans, insurance and bonding requirements and any other project specific requirements.
