Position: AM/Manager Business Development Emerging Markets
Job Location: Pune, Wakad
Qualification: B.Pharm+MBA
Job Profile:
New Lead generation, Managing the existing BD & IL projects, Relationships with the Business Partners, Negotiations on the various requirements with the External sources and Business Analytics
Job Role and Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development: Identifying the potential In-Licensing leads from India for the Emerging markets
2. Conducting Technical Due diligence of the In Licensing projects
3. Preparation of Business Case for the In-Licensing projects based on the inputs from the Country teams for inputs on current market, forecast & market shares
4. Keeping abreast of market trends, patent landscapes and competitor moves to achieve better market share matrix by utilizing the Market Intelligence.
5. Ensuring timely execution of project by tracking partners activity till launch of the product, aiming to identify bottlenecks, suggest solutions and make sure that necessary actions are taken inside and outside of the company. Working with cross functional teams to ensure closure of due diligence gaps.
6. Arranging conference calls and meetings with the various stakeholders & participating in the Business meetings to review in licensing activitys & progress and priorities for molecules to in license/acquire or develop
7. Managing BD database & Tracker with business opportunities, partners, and development status & capabilities
Additional duties
Preparation of Excel files/ Dashboards / Power point presentations which consolidate many diverse information for the Business Development routine needs
Experience:
1. 4 to 6 years of experience in Business Development, Project Management, Portfolio management, International Marketing in the pharmaceutical industry with technical background would be preferred
2. Good understanding of the way the key pharma industry drivers influences the launch of products and hence, the business development: intellectual property, regulatory, price evolution, retail, and hospital channel.
