Manager People Operations
Location: Pune, India
Experience: 8+ years (preferably in fast-growing startups and manufacturing environments)
About Us: We are a growing startup in the industrial automation space, committed to transforming industries with cutting-edge technology. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced People Ops leader to manage and scale our People Operations function while also overseeing HR operations at our manufacturing units.
Key Responsibilities:
People Operations:
- Lead all People Ops sub-functions: talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning & development, and HR compliance.
- Build scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth across corporate and manufacturing teams.
Manufacturing HR Operations:
- Manage HR operations at manufacturing units, ensuring workforce planning, compliance, and employee relations are handled effectively.
- Develop strategies for talent retention and engagement specific to plant-level challenges.
Policy & Compliance:
- Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws across corporate and manufacturing locations.
- Handle audits and ensure manufacturing units adhere to safety, labor, and compliance standards.
Strategic Planning:
- Align HR strategies with organizational goals, focusing on talent scalability and operational excellence.
- Partner with leadership to address workforce challenges in both corporate and manufacturing environments.
Admin & Workplace Management:
- Oversee office and plant-level administration, including vendor management, facilities, and workplace operations.
- Drive initiatives to improve employee well-being and productivity.
Culture & Engagement:
- Champion initiatives to maintain and enhance company culture across all locations.
- Develop engagement programs tailored to corporate and plant-level employees.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in People Operations, with a proven track record in fast-growing startups and manufacturing setups.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and compliance in both corporate and manufacturing environments.
- Experience in scaling teams, managing employee relations at manufacturing units, and implementing HR systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and diverse teams effectively.
