Associate Vice President - ESG


Client Servicing and Solutioning:

- Understand client requirements and consistently deliver exceptional service.

- Support the sales team with solutioning and provide consulting expertise.

- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.

- Present fresh, innovative ideas to clients while showcasing strong business awareness and consumer insights.

- Collaborate with senior managers to pitch for new accounts and drive business growth.

- Take ownership of P&L with full responsibility for sales, solutioning, and talent management.

Process Management:

- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize processes and support automation initiatives.

- Establish a robust control and governance framework for processes.

- Drive productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement.

- Build and sustain a high-performance culture within the team.

- Collaborate with global stakeholders to improve process controls and delivery efficiency.

- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team, unleashing their full potential.

Stakeholder Management:

- Maintain effective communication with business leads and client operations teams.

- Coordinate with multiple teams by defining clear responsibilities and deliverables.

- Prepare and present business metrics such as resource utilization reports and Gantt charts to stakeholders.

- Manage data-driven client engagements with expertise in financial and capital markets.

- Build strong relationships with globally spread teams and negotiate effectively with clients.

- Demonstrate strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail while keeping a focus on broader objectives.

- Drive creative and strategic thinking within teams and push boundaries for continuous improvement.

ESG Corporate Consulting and Project Management:

- Lead complex ESG consulting projects, providing strategic guidance on sustainability reporting, ESG integration, climate risk assessment, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs, BRSR).

- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement ESG strategies aligned with their business objectives.

- Guide clients in setting ambitious sustainability targets, including net-zero commitments and SBTi targets.

- Stay updated on evolving ESG regulations and provide actionable insights for compliance.

- Conduct benchmarking analysis to help clients identify ESG performance gaps and opportunities.

- Lead and mentor a team of ESG analysts to execute client projects successfully.

- Identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and build strong client relationships.

- Design customized ESG solutions leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.

Qualifications and Expertise:

- 12+ years of experience in client services and operations management, preferably in financial or ESG services.

- Proven expertise in people management and handling onshore clients.

- Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Operations.

- Strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple projects, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.
