Roles and Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning: Clean, organize, and restock guest rooms according to hotel standards, including changing linens, dusting surfaces, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Public Areas Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public spaces such as lobbies, corridors, lounges, and guest facilities (e.g., restrooms, fitness centers).
• Laundry Handling: Collect, handle, and manage guest laundry requests, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to the hotel's quality standards.
• Supplies Management: Restock housekeeping carts and closets with necessary cleaning products, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring all items are in good condition.
• Guest Interaction: Address guest requests, questions, and concerns professionally and courteously, ensuring that guest satisfaction remains a priority.
• Reporting and Communication: Report any maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety hazards in rooms or public areas to the supervisor for prompt resolution.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and hazardous materials, to ensure the safety of guests and colleagues.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other housekeeping team members and hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Laundry Valet

Roles and Responsibilities

• Laundry Collection: Greet guests professionally while collecting laundry from rooms, sorting and labeling items according to procedures.
• Equipment Operation: Operate washing machines and dryers, using appropriate detergents for different fabrics and ensuring proper cleaning and drying.
• Workflow Management: Prioritize laundry based on guest requests and maintain an organized work area for efficiency.
• Guest Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and clearly communicating laundry procedures and turnaround times.
• Inventory Control: Manage clean laundry inventory, restock supplies, and report low levels to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and quality, resolving any issues before delivery.
• Safety Protocols: Follow safety and hygiene guidelines, maintaining a clean work environment and reporting hazards.
