EduFund - Content Marketer/Content Writer (4-10 yrs)

Responsibilities : As a Content Marketer, you will play a crucial role in developing, executing, and optimizing content to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.

- Understand student and parents-users

- Develop and oversee the execution of content strategies across verticals

- Content performance analysis and continuous improvement

Detailed scope of responsibilities:

Understand student-users, parents-users:

- Build a clear understanding of different market segments, student-users personas, the USPs of different education loan providers

- Understand the brand position, product offerings and value proposition of brand Edufund

- Keep updated on trends on content, platforms and usage patterns of our users

- Develop and oversee the execution of content strategies:

- Collaborate with product and business teams to drive business goals through content.

- Build customized strategies for different user-types and lender partners as per the business goals that EduFund wants to achieve for them

- Create clear execution plan and calendar of content production that is aligned to the strategies and business goals

- Collaborate with multiple marketing, design and business teams, freelance writers, content agencies to ensure successful execution of the content plan

Content analysis and audit:

- Conduct continuous analysis of outcomes achieved from content published and make changes to optimize campaigns

- Ensure brand consistency and evolve brand guidelines as required

Qualification & Experience:

- Bachelors in English/Journalism OR Masters in Journalism/Mass Communication/Digital Marketing or related fields preferred but not mandatory

- 4-10 years of experience in Digital Content Marketing, Email Marketing, PR/ preferably in higher education/social sector/startups

Skills & Qualities:

Story-teller: A passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of how to create content that resonates with target audiences

Content Techie:

- Keen understanding of content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Joomla), keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM)

- Proficient with digital communication tools such as email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Hubspot, Campaign Monitor), social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)

- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, API integration and data feeds to integrate content with other systems and platforms.

Marketeer:

- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Marketo, Eloqua, or Pardot to streamline marketing processes and improve efficiency

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to write in different styles and tones

Designer: Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie to collaborate with video editors in creating engaging video content

Collaborator: Ability to work collaboratively with teams from multiple functions

Project Manager: Proficient in tracking schedules, performance and project progress

Analyst: Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz etc
