Job Brief

E-mail marketing incumbent is responsible for planning and implementing email campaigns, managing subscriber databases, creating engaging newsletters, and analyzing campaign performance. Their goal is to effectively reach the target audience, promote the brand, and drive customer engagement and sales through email communication.

Requirements

An email marketing job is to plan, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns to help a business achieve its goals. They are responsible for:

- Campaign creation: Developing and executing email marketing campaigns from start to finish

- Content creation: Writing engaging email content that aligns with the brand's voice and resonates with the audience

- Email list management: Segmenting and managing email lists to ensure accurate targeting and personalized communication

- Email template design: Creating visually appealing email templates that are responsive across devices and browsers

- Campaign optimization: Identifying opportunities for email optimization and implementing A/B testing to analyze performance metrics

- Campaign monitoring: Monitoring and studying email campaign key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Industry trends: Staying updated with the industry trends and the best practices in email marketing

Other Responsibilities of An Email Marketing May Include:

- Proofreading key messaging in and out of email templates

- Sending graphics requests to designers

- Compiling email lists

- Purging email lists

- Securing email databases for future campaigns

- Following up on emails

- Placing product orders

- Creating digital ads

- Aiding additional digital marketing efforts

Responsibilities:

- Identify target audience and grow our email list

- Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns

- Ensure mobile-friendly email templates

- Write newsletters including all company updates

- Upgrade our email templates using graphics, personalization and advanced features

- Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients via email to minimize unsubscribes

- Create email databases for lead generation

- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements

- Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts

- Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices
