Position Overview

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the development of web portals and applications, manage vendor relationships, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality, secure web solutions

The ideal candidate will have a background in technology management, strong project coordination skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities



Vendor Management :Oversee vendor performance in web portal and application development

Set clear project objectives and deadlines, and provide feedback to ensure success

Conduct performance reviews and work with vendors to ensure project alignment and success.

Project and Resource Management :Collaborate with internal and external teams to define project scope and deliverables

Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and meet deadlines

Monitor project timelines and resolve issues to keep the development on track.

Software Quality Assurance :Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices

Oversee comprehensive testing to ensure security and performance

Continuously improve processes for better efficiency and software quality.

Strategic Planning and Execution :Develop and execute technical strategies for web portals and applications that align with business objectives

Stay up to date with emerging technologies to ensure competitive and innovative solutions

Ensure web solutions meet both user needs and company goals.

Communication and Stakeholder Management :Serve as the primary liaison between vendors, internal teams, and senior management

Provide regular updates and address technical issues in a timely manner

Facilitate meetings to ensure alignment between business goals and development efforts.

Qualifications

Education :Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :Proven experience in managing web development projects, vendor management, and technology strategy.

Skills:Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Jira or Trello

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Strong understanding of web development technologies and software development life cycles

Ability to manage vendors and work with cross-functional teams.
