Mission:
The position of Head Business Development is to expand & develop the market of Laboratory Operations across various geographies, within budget. He/She will partner with other team to ensure new Laboratory is fully active on time. He/she will assess Laboratory creation opportunities, and identify opportunities to improve development or acquisition that increase revenue. He/She will evaluate and monitor contract compliance with terms and conditions to ensure quality assets for the company.
Job Responsibilities -
Strategy & Planning -
- Formulate and lead the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to Business Development Department.
- Deliver & Design business strategies with different business models (POC, HLMs, Franchisee Centers) to expand the markets in different geographical boundaries and deliver the planned growth. Achieve assigned sales targets in terms of New Partner Acquisition, and build a strong pipeline of Business leads.
- Lead, develop and create sales strategies by conducting market research, identifying and evaluating resources; defining customer requirements. Create and monitor sales plan to meet departmental goals in terms of top line and bottom-line.
- Predict achievable sales revenue from Acquisition and efficiently allocate resources accordingly and strategize to achieve the targets.
- Responsible for making continuous improvement in existing systems, resources and efficiencies of Department to increase business and revenue per customer. To establish quality standards, supervises quality control and operational working of Partners.
Business Development:
- Identifies business opportunities by identifying customers/clients/ key decision makers through researching and prospecting. Develop a database of qualified leads and convert them into customers.
- Visit potential key customers/clients/ key decision makers, determine their needs and serve through customized offerings for business development.
- Enroll new customers as per business targets, undertake documentation, contractual agreements and onboarding formalities. Partner with Operations team after deal signing for closure of activities as per agreed MOU.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to build a reputation for excellent service Ensure delivery as per new partner requirements and ensures adequate support during onboarding process. Ensure effective management of the New account opening, operations and service-related activities, as per clearly defined new account opening requirements.
Account management:
- Monitors partner satisfaction and service level and drives process changes.
- Ensure partner's business is complied with applicable laws, regulations and company policies. Ensure prompt response to incidents, complaints, malfunctions, inconsistencies by reviewing, investigating and responding as per established procedures at partner's level.
- Design Annual Engagement plan for key accounts. Nurture stakeholder relationships through consistent visits and virtual connectivity with all partners.
- Manage proper communication with relevant stakeholders on organizational updates (Products, Process, Policy, etc.)
- Ensuring the outstanding dues/credits of partners are within the permit limits.
Promotional Activities:
- Lead, manage and drive key promotional activities to enable achievement of business objectives. Coordinate with other Department for activations.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image and branding for all products and services.
People Management:
- Establish and maintain standards of performance and ensure competency check at each role in the department. Train and develop team members with regards to domain expertise for taking up future responsibilities in the division.
- Consistent review, training and performance management of team members.
- Ensure HR compliances and working as per HR policy of organization
- Providing a leadership support function to teams and motivating employees to achieve department goals.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Hands-on experience successfully supporting the evaluation, negotiation, and closing a variety of large and complex franchising or acquisition deals. Preference for the healthcare industry relevant business development, sales, or marketing experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership and management skills. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen. Detail-oriented and persuasive.
Pay Scale: 13.0 to 15.0 LPA
