Job description:

- Manage the day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and budgeting.

- This role involves financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making

- This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, provides financial insights, ensures compliance with regulations, and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization

- Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to support decision-making

- Monitor and analyze financial data, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights for business planning and strategy

- Financial Reporting and Compliance, Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to accounting principles and regulatory requirements

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure that financial records are accurate with accounting standards.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on budgeting, cost control, and profitability.

- Manage all accounting transactions

- Prepare budget forecasts

- Publish financial statements in time

- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings

- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

- Ensure timely bank payments

- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns

- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

- Audit financial transactions and documents

- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

- Comply with financial policies and regulations

- Prepare monthly attendance report and calculate salary

- Compute taxation of salary

- Design compensation and benefits packages

Preferred candidate profile:

- Work experience as an Accountant at least 2 years

- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures,

- Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally Prime

- Advanced MS Excel skills including various formulas

- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

- Graduate or post graduate in commerce background Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
