Manager Milk Procurement

Role & responsibilities

• Train field staff & Facilitator BMC/MCC operation for farmer base system.
• Observe & enforce to follow SOP.
• Preparing Budget of volume, pricing for milk and SMP/WMP. Daily planning of sourcing raw milk according to production planning.
• Identify exact need of user department.
• Manage and Assure supplies of Milk and SMP/WMP Support procurement team with service level AMC and SLA.
• Develop strategies of criteria like value for money, 5R and Total cost of lifecycle for capital/commodity procurement
• Conduct monthly meeting, review performance & motivate to achieve targets.
• Update field new arrivals & aware with market requirement.
• Surprise visit for observation deviation & instruct to improvement.
• Maintain logistic stream line operation.
• Hand holding with Facilitators day-to-day BMC operation activity.
• Maintain BMC/MCC's as per standards of FSSAI and ISO19000.
• Daily report management on procurement
• Maximum utilization Man vs Machine.
• Conduct survey Identify the new potential areas,
• Train persons to procure good quality milk
• Set up the BMC, MCC setup/collection centers.
• Check the quality of raw milk
• Propose new ideas for cost effective procurement by reducing freight, compare buy or lease etc.
• Co-ordinate for maintenance of machinery.
• Recoveries of Solids
• To avoid Antibiotics, Aflatoxin, Pesticides residues in milk awareness program me organized and training to Milk Producers through audio video is arranged and insists to follow HACCP &GMP at bulk cooler/Chilling center level.
• Develop Family Farms
• Supply of compound Feed and allied input services.
• Purchase of milk from the private traders/Private dairy plants/Farms.
