Area Manager-Sales & Support-Analytical Instruments

Objective:

Area Manager-Sales & Support is responsible for sales & support activities as per defined territory and will be accountable for achieving the sales and revenue targets of the organisation and drive the year-on-year sales growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop business segment strategies, research markets amp; competitors, articulate value propositions, and identify growth opportunities
• Approaching potential customers with the aim of winning new business. Also making repeat sales to the existing customers.
• To conduct and monitor the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual review of sales & support function to assess the targets & the key performance of products and services.
• Report regularly to management on performance and market developments
• Assess, design, build and implement best practices on process, organization, and technology to create, execute, and run a collaborative sales role
• Driving continuous improvement in sales / service analysis, forecast accuracy, and forecasting processes to positively impact inventory positions, sales / service and margin
• Look after Installation and timely deployment service engineer team at customer place
• Maintain proper documentation related to Installation and service of high end products, same reports send to Management, Support team.
• Train the Service Engineer for timely reporting and maintain the data as per standard format
• Look after Manpower planning as per given territory
• Sort out the customer issues as per defined timeline
• Coordinate with internal team for sales & service
