Project Manager

As a project manager at DLCO INFRA PROJECTS PVT LTD, you would be responsible for overseeing the company s construction projects in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Your job description may include the following responsibilities:

Planning and Scheduling: You will be responsible for creating appropriate project plans, schedules and budgets to ensure successful completion of projects. You will work with project team members.

Resource Management: You will manage the site engineers, including subcontractors, vendors and other stakeholders. You will allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Risk Management: You will identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize the impact of potential issues. You will also develop contingency plans to manage risks that cannot be eliminated.

Quality Control: You will ensure that projects are completed to the required quality standards. This includes overseeing quality inspections, testing, and certification processes.

Communication: You will communicate with project coordinators and clients to keep them informed about project status, changes, and updates.

Budgeting: You will manage project budgets, including tracking costs, reviewing invoices, and forecasting expenses.

Safety: You will be responsible for ensuring that all safety procedures and regulations are followed on project sites to protect workers, equipment, and the environment.

To qualify for this role, the ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of strong experience in civil and construction projects. You should also have a bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Excellent project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role. The candidate should be competent in site execution, drawing studies, and site design. He must be able to lead whole team of sites.
