Oversee the Placement Process : Manage and coordinate all aspects of the student placement process, including identifying job opportunities, coordinating interviews, and ensuring successful student placements in relevant industries.
Build and Maintain Employer Relationships : Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, companies, and organizations in the mobility sector. Act as the primary point of contact for employers seeking to recruit DIYguru students and graduates.
Prepare Students for Employment : Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions to prepare students for job searches, interviews, and career success. Provide guidance on resume writing, interview techniques, and job application strategies.
Coordinate On-Campus and Virtual Recruitment Events : Plan and organize recruitment events, job fairs, campus interviews, and virtual hiring sessions. Collaborate with employers to facilitate their participation and ensure a smooth event experience for both students and recruiters.
Monitor and Track Placement Outcomes : Maintain detailed records of student placements, employment statistics, and employer feedback. Analyze placement data to assess the effectiveness of placement activities and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and Implement Placement Strategies : Create and execute strategic plans to enhance placement rates and expand employment opportunities for DIYguru students. Identify new industry trends and sectors that align with our training programs.
Provide Career Counseling and Support : Offer personalized career counseling and support to students, helping them identify their strengths, career goals, and suitable job opportunities. Provide ongoing support and advice throughout the placement process.
Collaborate with Internal Teams : Work closely with course instructors, curriculum developers, and marketing teams to align placement activities with educational objectives and market needs. Provide feedback on curriculum relevance based on industry requirements.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends : Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the mobility sector and job market to ensure students are prepared for current and future employment opportunities.
Requirements
A bachelor s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in placement coordination, career services, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within the education or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of the job market and employment trends in the mobility, automotive, and renewable energy sectors.
Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with students, employers, and industry partners.
Proven experience in organizing recruitment events and managing end-to-end placement processes.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficient in using career services software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
