Job Description
- Develop Curriculum and Training Programs : Design and develop comprehensive curriculum and training programs focused on EV technology, vehicle dynamics, and autonomous vehicle systems. Ensure content is up-to-date, technically accurate, and aligned with industry standards.
- Deliver Hands-On Training : Lead hands-on training sessions and workshops that provide practical experience in EV systems, vehicle dynamics, and autonomous technologies. Guide students through lab exercises, simulations, and real-world projects to enhance learning.
- Conduct Technical Research and Development : Stay current with the latest advancements in automotive engineering, particularly in EV and autonomous vehicle technology. Conduct research to continuously improve course content and ensure it reflects the latest industry trends and innovations.
- Collaborate with Industry Experts and Partners : Work closely with industry professionals, academic institutions, and internal teams to enhance the quality and relevance of our educational offerings. Integrate industry feedback and insights into the curriculum.
- Provide Technical Support and Mentorship : Offer technical support and mentorship to students, helping them understand complex concepts in EV technology, vehicle dynamics, and autonomous systems. Provide guidance on projects, assignments, and career development.
- Develop and Maintain Laboratory Equipment : Assist in the setup and maintenance of laboratory equipment and hardware setups used for training in EV technology and autonomous systems. Ensure all equipment is functional, safe, and available for student use.
- Evaluate Student Performance : Monitor and assess student progress through tests, quizzes, practical assessments, and project evaluations. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their learning objectives.
- Promote Safety and Best Practices : Ensure all training sessions and lab activities are conducted safely and adhere to industry safety standards. Educate students on safety protocols and best practices for working with EV systems and autonomous technologies.
- Engage in Curriculum Innovation : Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and expand DIYguru s educational offerings in automotive engineering. Develop new course modules, workshops, and certifications that address emerging technologies and market needs.
- Participate in Conferences and Workshops : Represent DIYguru at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events. Share insights and learnings to stay connected with industry trends and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor s degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on EV technology, vehicle dynamics, or autonomous vehicle systems.
- Proven experience in developing educational content and delivering training, preferably within the automotive or technology sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of electric vehicles, including powertrains, battery systems, and autonomous driving technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including instructors, curriculum developers, and industry partners.
- Experience with simulation tools, diagnostic equipment, and other technical software relevant to automotive engineering.
- Passion for education, sustainable technology, and the future of mobility.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
