Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Pre-Sales Consultant with a strong background in IT infrastructure, smart city projects, safe city solutions, surveillance, data centres, IoT, and turnkey IT projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative and cost-effective solutions, engaging in technical pre-sales activities, and ensuring successful project execution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design and architect IT infrastructure solutions, including data centers, surveillance, IoT, computing, storage, and networking for Smart City and Safe City projects.
• Develop scalable and high-availability solutions integrating surveillance, IoT sensors, cloud platforms, and edge computing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security policies, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership in Integrated Command & Control Centers (ICCC) and IT infrastructure projects.

Pre-Sales & Business Development Support

• Work closely with sales, business development, and project teams to analyze customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Engage in bid management, RFP/RFQ responses, and solution presentations for large-scale projects.
• Develop detailed technical proposals, BoQ, and cost estimates for IT infrastructure, data center, and surveillance solutions.
• Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations and customer workshops.

Technology Expertise & Consultation

• Provide expertise in computing, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Private Cloud).
• Guide customers in selecting the right hardware, software, and networking components for their IT infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging AI-driven surveillance, smart city solutions, and IoT technologies.
• Collaborate with OEMs, system integrators, and technology partners for solution optimization.

Project Execution & Implementation Support

• Assist in high-level project planning, risk assessment, and system integration.
• Work with project managers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth deployment and delivery.
• Provide technical governance and ensure adherence to design specifications during implementation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15-20 years of experience in IT infrastructure, Smart City, Safe City, and turnkey IT projects.
• Strong expertise in data center architecture, surveillance solutions, IoT, networking, and cloud computing.
• In-depth knowledge of storage systems (SAN, NAS), servers, virtualization, and high-performance computing.
• Experience in large-scale system integration, CCTV surveillance, AI-based analytics, and networking solutions.
• Strong understanding of integrated command and control systems (ICCC) and cybersecurity standards.
• Excellent knowledge of RFP/RFQ processes, bid management, and pre-sales activities.
• Hands-on experience with vendors like Dell, HPE, Cisco, Huawei, IBM, AWS, Azure, VMware, and NetApp.
• Proven ability to engage with C-level executives, government bodies, and enterprise clients.
• Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional but advantageous):

• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Certification
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• TOGAF or ITIL Certification
• Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent
