The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing a successful channel sales strategy to drive revenue growth through partnerships with distributors, resellers, and other channel partners. This role requires a strong understanding of the IT market, channel sales best practices, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in channel sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, develop, and manage a network of channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
Develop and execute channel sales strategies and programs to drive partner recruitment and enablement.
Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to successfully sell and market our products and services.
Track and analyze channel sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partner contacts.
Negotiate and manage partner agreements, including pricing, incentives, and territories.
Attend industry events and trade shows to network with potential partners.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to support channel sales initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in channel sales, preferably in the IT industry.
Proven track record of success in recruiting, developing, and managing channel partners.
Strong understanding of the IT market and channel sales best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
