The Deputy Manager will oversee the implementation and management of projects designed to promote women- led enterprises. This role involves coordinating program activities, managing stakeholder relationships, monitoring progress, and ensuring that project goals are achieved within established timelines and budgets. The Deputy Program Manager will also play a vital role in empowering women entrepreneurs by enhancing their access to resources, training, and networks.
Job Description and Expected Outputs:
Roles Responsibilities:
Develop and execute program strategies that support women-led enterprises.
Coordinate project activities, including workshops, training sessions, and networking events for women entrepreneurs.
Assist in the development and delivery of training modules focused on entrepreneurship.
Monitor and evaluate program activities to assess their effectiveness and impact on women-led enterprises.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations, government agencies, and private sector partners.
Facilitate access to financial resources, mentoring, and technical support for women entrepreneurs.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing project progress, challenges, and outcomes.
Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the women-led enterprise sector.
Reporting and Coordination:
You will report to Assistant Programme Director in DAHQ.
Coordinate with the corporate Communication and Knowledge Management unit for outcome and impact data collection, collation, and analysis.
Coordinate all administrative issues with respective departments
Desirable Attributes:
Highly skilled in project coordination and ability to work independently.
Take initiative, identify issues, and work towards addressing them with a solutions-oriented mindset.
Willingness to spend lots of time on the field to travel extensively, even alone Very high on personal and professional integrity.
Strong professional communication skills - both verbal and written.
