Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Cloud IT Sales Team Leader to lead our B2B sales efforts focused on large enterprise customers. This role requires a combination of leadership, cloud IT expertise, and a deep understanding of enterprise-level sales processes. As the Team Leader, you will drive the performance of a high-performing sales team, setting strategies and ensuring that cloud-based solutions (Cloud,Google Cloud,Microsoft ) are effectively delivered to large enterprise clients. You will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while nurturing key client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
    • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing sales team focused on driving cloud IT sales within large enterprises.
    • Establish clear sales objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular performance feedback and development support to your team.
    • Foster a collaborative team culture, ensuring that each sales member is motivated, accountable, and equipped to succeed in their roles.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans that align with the business goals, targeting large enterprise clients for cloud solutions.
    • Set sales targets for your team, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure consistent achievement of quarterly and annual goals.
    • Collaborate with marketing, solutions architecture, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Client Engagement & Enterprise Sales:
    • Drive the sales process for large, strategic accounts by directly engaging with C-suite executives and senior IT leaders.
    • Take ownership of high-value deals, working with your team to manage complex, long-cycle enterprise sales.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and exploring opportunities for expansion within existing accounts.
  • Sales Enablement & Training:
    • Provide ongoing training and development to your sales team on cloud products, value propositions, and competitive differentiators.
    • Equip your team with the necessary sales tools, resources, and product knowledge to effectively engage clients.
    • Lead by example in sales activities, from qualifying leads to closing enterprise deals.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline health, and sales forecasting to ensure targets are met.
    • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on team performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape insights.
    • Implement corrective actions when necessary to drive performance improvements and ensure the success of the sales team.
  • Collaboration Across Departments:
    • Work closely with product management, marketing, and customer success teams to align offerings with client needs and ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
    • Facilitate cross-functional communication between the sales team and other departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive customer success.
  • Market & Industry Insights:
    • Stay up to date on cloud trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity, ensuring the teams sales strategies are agile and responsive to market needs.
    • Identify and act on emerging opportunities within large enterprises and key industries such as finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cloud IT sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or team management role within the large enterprise space.
    • Proven success in selling cloud solutions (Google Cloud, Microsoft Cloud, Cloud ) to large enterprises, including managing multi-million-dollar deals.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team to exceed targets, manage sales pipelines, and drive new business growth in a competitive market.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed targets.
    • Deep knowledge of cloud technologies and enterprise-level IT solutions, including the business value of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and executives in meaningful business conversations.
    • Experience with sales processes, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and pipeline management, as well as performance analysis and reporting.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
    • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong network and relationships with key decision-makers in large enterprises, particularly in IT departments.
  • Experience with enterprise sales lifecycle management, including contract negotiations and procurement processes.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT challenges, digital transformation initiatives, and cloud migration strategies.
