SAP Basis Administrator (7-10 yrs)

Role : SAP BASIS Administrator

Exp : 7 -10 years

Location : Hyderabad

Work Mode : WFO

Required Skills :

- Very good communication.

- Exposure to public cloud , especially GCP cloud.

- Very good exposure to HANA admin and troubleshooting.

- SOLMAN CHARM and tech. monitoring experience

- Solution experience to take decisions independently for Basis related challenges.

- Manages SAP system's technical infrastructure.

- Responsibilities include system monitoring, user administration, backups, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Manages configurations and resolves technical issues across SAP modules.

- Review and perform required system changes, solution design, server architecture and performance analysis. Analyse process gaps and fine tune as and when required.

- Ensure delivery within the defined SLA and agreed milestones (projects) by following best practices and processes and observing KPI's for continuous service improvement.

- Interact with other teams, functional, ABAP teams, understand functional/technical requirement, and solve issues in the system administration area.

- Collaborate with the SAP HANA application implementation and the infrastructure team to ensure proper implementation, sustainable support, and peak performance.

- Execute common SAP and industry standard daily/weekly/monthly maintenance, BASIS administration procedures for SAP HANA.

- Install, upgrade, and monitor SAP HANA Databases / HANA Database Cockpit in a scale-up and scale-out environment.

- Setup three-tier HANA System Replication.

- Troubleshoot HANA memory bottlenecks, tune performance and manage workload.

- Establish, implement, test disaster recovery & test business continuity solutions for SAP HANA.

- Configure HANA SSO/SAML.

- Support SAP Bank Analyzer and the BW HANA environment.

- Set up CTS+ for HANA transports.

- Implement & maintain solution manager monitoring alerts, configure object metrics for App Server, HDB, and OS level.

- Possess in depth technical skills in managing SAP systems, HANA DBs, and integration interfaces.

- Possess experience with the review and coordination of impact analysis on application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.

- Able to translate them to technical architecture and system/server configuration requirements.

- Candidate is able to provide input into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security.

- Possess experience in automation in the SAP on Cloud space, GCP deployments, and High-Availability Disaster Recovery.

- Possess support experience of SAP systems running on High Availability platforms, capable of troubleshooting the system startup and performance issues.

- Experience in L1 administration of Red Hat and SUSE Linux is required.

- Possess working knowledge of SUSE Linux enterprise High Availability cluster.

- Possess the experience of configuration and maintenance of Solution Manager CHARM. Able to add/remove systems via SLD & CUA.

- Candidate has BOBJ administration experience. Candidate can configure new systems and move content between them. Prior experience with role synchronization with BW4HANA and BO CMC/BI tool administration.

- Possess BW4HANA administration support experience, SDA, Business Objects integration and security expertise.

- Candidate can enforce security policies and access controls.

- Possess expert level experience in Eclipse, HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit. Candidate

- Expert-level proficiency in Eclipse/HANA Studio and HANA Cockpit, including role creation and development, content import/export via HANA Studio, and promoting changes across the HDB landscape.

- Possess knowledge of web services based on SAP-NetWeaver, SAP interfaces, SAP solutions.

- Candidate has knowledge & expertise with emerging technologies such as S/4 HANA, Cloud, Mobility, and IOT.
