SAP Basis Administrator (7-10 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Manage and administer complex SAP landscapes, including installations, upgrades, system copies, refreshes, and performance tuning.

- Proactively and reactively provide all aspects of technical support for SAP Basis Administration to ensure optimal system performance and exceed SLAs.

- Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and tune Oracle and HANA databases in large environments, preferably supporting SAP Business Suites.

- Handle SAP system refreshes with Oracle and HANA databases in complex landscapes, including orchestration and automation.

- Resolve day-to-day production support issues, stabilize systems, manage operations, and execute release management activities.

- Monitor and administer batch jobs, system health, and system performance.

- Provide 24x7 on-call support to maintain system availability.

- Proactively troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, and implement resolutions for system issues.

- Provide Operations support for SAP Systems and Technical Infrastructure, including Transport Management, Solution Manager integration, and Alert Monitoring.

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with SAP Application owners, IT Infrastructure, Server Support, and Network Teams.

- Knowledge of AIX/Linux operating systems is required for SAP Basis support.

- Monitor HANA system backups, HANA system replication, and maintain and configure high-availability environments (i.e., HSR, SDI).

- Experience with SLT Administration, SAP Cloud Connector, and BTP administration, including troubleshooting replication issues.

- Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues in SAP systems, Oracle, and HANA databases.

- Manage SAP application and infrastructure outages, including incident management and communication.

- Perform 24x7 on-call applications support responsibilities as needed and be available for weekend on-call duties as required.

- Effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical teams across regions.

- Lead critical issues involving large SAP systems based on Oracle and HANA.

- Take ownership of work activities and drive them to completion in a timely and efficient manner.

- Work effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
