Job Description:

As AM or DM in our Cyber Team, youll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

The SIEM Audit and Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing and ensuring the security information and event management (SIEM) system aligns with internal and regulatory compliance requirements. This role focuses on ensuring the Compliance and regulatory requirement associated with SOC, handling risk assessments, adherence to compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO, CIS etc.), and providing recommendations to mitigate risks. The specialist will also support the development and implementation of security policies, handle audit queries, and ensure all audit and compliance observations are handled considering organization security posture to prevent data breaches and enhance overall security posture.

Desired qualifications

• 5-8 Years of experience in Security Operations, Information Security Compliance, Audit and Governance activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Certifications requirements: ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead audit

Location and way of working

• Base location: Mumbai/Hyderabad
• Professional is required to work from office.

• Fundamental understanding of network traffic analysis including TCP/IP, routing, switching, protocols, etc.
• Participate for internal and external audit activities pertaining to Security Operation Center
• Preparation, maintain and update of incident response SOPs, Guideline, Procedures, Security Playbooks required for Security operation center.
• Coordinate and tracking of Audit observations with Internal SOC leads to gather Information / evidence required for Audit submission.
• Document, investigate, and report cybersecurity compliance issues and incidents.
• Evaluate risk, document processes and systems in flowchart and narrative form and design audit programs.
• Apply audit lessons to reduce recurring review comments.
• Draft written reports and audit findings deliverables and present them to management.
• Follow-up on client execution of management actions
• Demonstrate project management skills, manage audits to meet target dates within timelines.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate obstacles and status to Audit Services management.
• Assess technology risk and develop audit and advisory plans.
• Audit to measure control requirements compliance.
• Oversee and report status of audit remediation activities.
• Guide on emerging operational, legal and regulatory compliance matters.
• Provide guidance to the team members on project topics and review the quality of work
• Analyze and evaluate information security incidents in order to reduce the likelihood or impact of future incidents. Facilitate reports of security violations by documenting and coordinating remediation and awareness of violations to respective managers.
• Deep analysis of security drills reports and sharing and tracking the recommendation along with Security Operation teams.
• Presenting the Monthly, Weekly and ad-hoc reports to Senior management
• Preparing and maintaining of SLAs and KPIs
• Work closely with the incident response team to ensure SIEM alerts and logs are leveraged effectively during security incident investigations.
• Ensure timely escalation of significant security events identified by the SIEM system
