Senior Manager HR & Compliance

Role & Responsibilities-

1. Compliance & Legal Management

• Ensure 100% compliance with all labor laws, including PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Factory, Establishments Act
• Manage and oversee labor inspections, audits, and statutory filings (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, etc.)
• Handle legal matters related to employment contracts, labor disputes, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure compliance with POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policies and oversee investigations if required
• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with labor laws and company objectives

2. People Management & Employee Relations

• Act as the HR problem-solver, ensuring smooth handling of employee grievances and conflicts
• Maintain a positive work culture by fostering strong employee engagement initiatives
• Handle disciplinary actions and create frameworks for fair and legal resolution of employee issues
• Work closely with department heads to ensure HR compliance is followed across the organization

3. Payroll & Statutory Filings

• Oversee payroll compliance, including correct deductions for PF, ESI, PT, and TDS
• Ensure timely and accurate statutory filings and returns

4. Quick & Effective Hiring

• Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure fast-track hiring processes
• Ensure legal compliance in onboarding, offer letters, and background verification

5. Liaison & Coordination

• Coordinate with government authorities (Labor Department, PF Office, ESI Office, etc.)
• Work with external legal advisors on labor cases and compliance matters
• Regularly update management on compliance risks & mitigation plans

✔ Strong Legal & Compliance Knowledge Expert in labor laws and HR regulatory frameworks
✔ Quick Hiring Capability – Hands-on experience in fast-track recruitment & onboarding
✔ Excellent People Management Skills – Ability to resolve conflicts and build a positive work environment
✔ Experience in the Pharma / Manufacturing Industry – Preferred but not mandatory
✔ Education:

• MBA / PGDM in HR & Industrial Relations
• LLB (Preferred) or Master’s in Labor Laws
• Certifications in Compliance, POSH, Payroll, or HR Law (Advantageous)
