Job Description


1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Management

  • Plan and execute manpower requirements for the plant.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-based roles, ensuring the right talent is hired.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce needs and succession planning.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new employees.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as a bridge between management and employees to maintain a harmonious workplace.
  • Address grievances, handle disciplinary actions, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Foster employee engagement through initiatives, recognition programs, and welfare activities.
  • Promote an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.

3. Labor Laws & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, including Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain records related to wages, PF, ESI, gratuity, and other statutory obligations.
  • Handle labor union negotiations, if applicable, and ensure industrial harmony.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements.

4. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and create training programs for workforce development.
  • Organize safety, compliance, and technical training sessions.
  • Implement leadership and soft skills development initiatives for employees.
  • Work with external trainers and agencies to enhance learning opportunities.

5. Performance Management

  • Implement and oversee the performance appraisal system.
  • Work with department heads to set KPIs and monitor employee performance.
  • Facilitate career development programs and internal promotions.
  • Ensure fair and transparent performance evaluations.

6. Compensation & Payroll Management

  • Oversee payroll processing in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Ensure timely salary payments, incentives, and compliance with wage structures.
  • Manage attendance, leave policies, and overtime payments.

7. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Collaborate with safety teams to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Promote health and wellness programs for employees.
  • Ensure proper functioning of employee welfare facilities like canteens, medical aid, and transport.

8. HR Policies & Strategy

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies as per business needs.
  • Align HR strategies with the overall organizational goals.
  • Conduct HR analytics and reporting for management review.
