Job Title: Brand & Marketing - Design Manager

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Brand & Marketing - Design Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing for D'Decor and FabriCare, this role is for a creative individual who will be instrumental in executing branding, design and communication strategies across various touchpoints. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the head of brand and marketing to develop high-quality, brand-consistent creative outputs while managing the execution of design projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborative Ideation:
• Work closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing in brainstorming and developing creative strategies for branding, advertising, and communication campaigns.
• Provide creative input and innovative ideas to align with the overall brand direction and marketing goals.
2. Design Execution:
• Translate briefs into effective design concepts for advertising, packaging, branding, and communication materials.
• Create digital and print designs, layouts, and prototypes that are on-brand and strategically aligned.
• Ensure design consistency across all platforms and materials, including social media, websites, packaging, and in-store displays.
• Create/edit short digital videos for various platforms using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, enhancing the visual storytelling of the brands through motion graphics and animations.
3. Project Management:
• Lead the execution of creative projects, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high standard of quality.
• Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, photographers, and vendors to ensure successful execution of creative projects.
4. Brand Guardianship:
• Uphold the brand identity of D'Decor and FabriCare, ensuring that all creative assets align with the established brand guidelines.
• Assist in the development of packaging, product design, and communication to maintain brand consistency across channels.
5. Creative Execution & Feedback:
• Manage the creative production process, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to briefs.
• Collaborate with the Head of Brand & Marketing and other stakeholders to implement revisions and finalize designs.
6. Trend Analysis & Innovation:
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activities, providing insights for innovative creative ideas to keep the brands relevant and fresh.
• Proactively explore new design tools, technologies, and creative processes to enhance workflow efficiency and creative output.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Marketing, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a creative design or advertising role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Figma, or other design tools.
• Working knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to execute branding and design projects across multiple platforms (print, digital, packaging).
• Detail-oriented with the ability to balance creativity with executional precision.
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering on tight deadlines.
• Passion for design, branding, and visual storytelling.

Preferred:

• Experience in luxury or home décor brands is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with marketing communication in home textiles or related industries.
