Job Description

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Banks operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

A team member to build and drive the implementation of first line of defense to proactive manage operational risk within T&O.

Requirements

Operational Risk, Outsourcing Risk & Governance responsibilities

High risk orientation and vendor risk management skills
High Rated employee in current role with experience of Ops, Ops risk and preferably from Audit or COO team with a governance mindset.
Managing senior stakehoders effectively
Understanding of all banking products , accounting , Operatiosn risk related to product..
Strong understanding of Reconciliation and balancesheet
To supervise data analytics for management overview.
Review New Product Approvals/ Outsourcings and identify risks/ co-ordinate with various stakeholders and highlight risks.
Conduct Local Forums to ensure Management oversight to risk items and similar forums for dissemination of information to T&O staff
Investigate and supervise root cause analysis for risk incidents and events arising out of operational lapses/frauds (internal/external)/application issues and process gaps.

Required Experience

High risk orientation and vendor risk management skills for 5 years atleast
Prior experience in Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Governance & Control team
Experience of min 5 years in an Audit or related function.

Technical Competencies

Operational Risk policy & procedures
High risk orientation and vendor risk management skills
Regulatory guidelines (RBI & other local regulators)
Information Security guidelines
