Job Description
- Ensure adherence to relevant RBI MAS laws, regulations pertaining to Debt Collection Agencies
- Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, reputational, and financial risks under Collection unit for Secured Unsecured loan products
- Implement risk management frameworks and monitoring systems
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, and procedures
- Provide guidance and support to senior management and staff
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring effective remediation of findings
- Conduct regular reviews of compliance and risk management practices
- Liaise with regulatory auditors, Internal and external stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments
- Provide regular compliance and risk management reports to senior management
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of compliance and risk professionals
- Foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the Collections organization structure
- Relevant professional certification on Governance Mgmt
- Strong knowledge of debt collection regulations and industry standards
- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or governance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing regulatory landscapes.
