We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead with expertise in Embedded Software Development to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing embedded software for a range of connected product line.

Role & responsibilities

• Software Porting, integration and testing of middleware on different platforms, ensuring that all components work together seamlessly in a real-time environment
• Embedded applications design and development preferably for V2X / ADAS systems ensuring the systems meet safety and performance requirements.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Design and implement network management systems for V2X, including message routing, prioritization, and real-time communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate middleware and applications

Desired Functional Skills:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a focus on real-time systems
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python and relevant languages for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems programming.
• Experience with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, MQTT, and DTN.
• Strong knowledge of embedded protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and other communication interfaces.
• Knowledge on ADAS algorithms for functions like object detection, sensor fusion, path planning, and driver assistance systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and experience with continuous integration and automated testing tools.
• Proficiency in debugging and optimization techniques for embedded systems, including using tools like GDB, JTAG, and static code analysis.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including software architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Functional Skills:

• Knowledge of 5.9 GHz DSRC/C-V2X standards.
• Experience in Algorithm / core application development.
• Experience with simulation tools for autonomous vehicles, such as CARLA, SUMO, ROS, MATLAB/Simulink, or other relevant platforms.
• Experience with vehicle ECU architectures and automotive networking standards.
• Knowledge of software development process according to CMMI or ASPICE
