COMPANY & BACKGROUND Dairy Day is one of Indias largest ice cream brands. Over the last 20+ years, we have built a formidable presence across South & West India and are continuously expanding across the country, selling to over 60,000+ retailers. Dairy Day manufactures and supplies products across a variety of cups, cones, sticks, tubs, and other special packaging with over 30+ flavors. The company has state of the art manufacturing facilities in Karnataka with a production capacity of 3.5 Lakh liters/day.

We are looking to hire a full-time Master Data Lead to oversee all master data governance and operations for the SAP systems and other applications/landscapes for the organization. This role will hold the design, execution and oversight of all MDM related process and contribute to the organizations process and technology evolution.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Master Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes for SAP Master Data Management to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Data Quality Management: Monitor, measure, and improve the quality of master data; identify data inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Data Maintenance & Control: Oversee and execute master data creation, updates, and deletions in SAP for data domains like Customer, Vendor, Material, BOM, Pricing, and others.
• Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement) to ensure master data supports their needs and adheres to SAP best practices.
• SAP MDM Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to SAP MDM processes, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
• User Training & Support: Train end-users on data management best practices within SAP and provide ongoing support to ensure data standards are upheld.
• Data Integration: Support data integration efforts related to mergers, acquisitions, or system upgrades by ensuring seamless data migration and system compatibility.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of SAP MDM processes, policies, data standards, and quality metrics
• Experience in working in Global Capability Centre

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Academic

• Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

Professional

• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management or a related role within SAP.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Hands-on experience in SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, PP/QM, or relevant SAP S/4HANA MDM experience, along with relevant certifications (desirable)
• Knowledge of data governance tools and practices
• Experience with data quality monitoring and reporting tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of SQL or other database management tools
