The Cloud Lead ,will be responsible for leading our cloud infrastructure and operations, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing, as well as leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of cloud engineers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud solutions, along with a deep understanding of best practices and emerging trends in cloud technology.
Responsibility:
Lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture requirements and develop scalable solutions to meet business needs.
Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance efficiency.
Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance for cloud-based initiatives.
Develop and maintain documentation for cloud systems, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
Minimum of 6 yrs. years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on infrastructure design and management.
Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certification(s) preferred.
Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.
Experience leading and managing a team of cloud engineers in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly.
