Job Description
The Cloud Lead ,will be responsible for leading our cloud infrastructure and operations, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. This role requires strong technical expertise in cloud computing, as well as leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of cloud engineers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing cloud solutions, along with a deep understanding of best practices and emerging trends in cloud technology.
Responsibility: - Lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture requirements and develop scalable solutions to meet business needs.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance efficiency.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance.
- Monitor cloud performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technology and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance for cloud-based initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud systems, including architecture diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6 yrs. years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on infrastructure design and management.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Certification(s) preferred.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments.
- Experience leading and managing a team of cloud engineers in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly.
