Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Automation Tester, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams by implementing automation, deploying, and monitoring infrastructure, as well as ensuring seamless integration of various software components. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of software development processes, system administration, and cloud computing technologies.
Responsibility: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute test cases based on business priorities and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of software designs.
- Analyze test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner.
- ork closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Continuously improve test automation frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in test automation and apply them to improve testing practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
- Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and initiatives of the organization.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Tester or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
