Job Description
- Design, deploy, and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and other stakeholders to design OCI architecture that aligns with best practices and organizational goals.
- Implement automation and orchestration techniques to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of OCI resources.
- Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of OCI services, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Implement security controls and best practices to protect OCI environments from security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI infrastructure components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.
- Implement and manage networking, security, and identity and access management (IAM) configurations within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of OCI services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and automation using Ansible.
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and load balancing.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in the OCI cloud environments.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications for OCI like associate or professional certification.
