Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a firm grasp of accounting principles, and proficiency in financial software.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management

• Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.

Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and income tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and government regulations.

Budgeting & Reporting

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Generate periodic financial reports for management review.

Auditing & Reconciliation

• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

Support Functions

• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
• Support other departments with financial data and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in accounting roles.
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines effectively.
