Travel around at customer sites 50 to 75% of the time

Additional Responsibilities

Develops, updates, and administers department databases, wikis, websites, systems, security status, and technical libraries

Assists with the migration from one technology platform to another

Participates in the engineering application certification process

Monitors and audits function-related activities

Aligns engineering department training and communication processes

Defines and maintains workstations used specifically for the technologies administered

Provides engineering support and administration expertise for databases, technologies, websites, and technical libraries

Troubleshoots engineering system functionality and interfaces

Participates in the development of technologies, websites, wikis, or databases

Ensures installation, set-up, and technical support for new and existing systems

Provides global support for data maintenance and manages global data and supports systems

Coordinates related financial activities such as tracking charges and chargebacks

Interfaces with financial systems; analyzes, compares, and reports related financial data

Initiates, develops, and leads improvement processes

Actively participates in selfand team audits and resulting process improvements

Develops and conducts training programs

Understands the structure of the organization and maintains a strong network across departments

Draws on the network to answer questions, solve problems, and successfully execute responsibilities

Performs other duties as required

Engineering Software Application : Supports Engineering Software according to instruction or need to enable Engineering users' efficiency

Engineering Software Certification : Certifies Engineering Software according to instruction or need to enable Engineering users' efficiency

Engineering Software/Hardware Evaluation : Evaluates Engineering Software/Hardware according to engineering users' needs to provide CBSIT with guidance for selecting the Engineering tools needed

Builds Networks : Effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization

Collaborates : Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives communicates Effectively : Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Customer Focus : Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

Instills Trust : Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications :

High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required

Regionally applicable certification or two-year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
