Job Description
- Conduct research and analysis on tourism trends, market demand, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets, including statistical data, surveys, and market research reports
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and analyze tourism data
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams with CRISIL to integrate research insights into tourism development strategies
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in tourism research and analysis
- Develop and implement research methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to gather data and insights from tourists, tourism operators, and other stakeholders
- Provide technical assistance and training to stakeholders on research methods, data analysis, and interpretation
- Develop and manage research projects, including budgeting, timelines, and resource allocation
- At least 2 years of experience in research and analysis, preferably in the tourism industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate research findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including government agencies, tourism boards, and industry partners
- Strong knowledge of the tourism industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities
