Position- Senior Consultant: Credit Risk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Risk consultant to join our team in Mumbai. A successful candidate will have a strong background in credit risk. Understanding of other crucial risks such as Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

Work on credit risk consulting offerings, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL), Capital computation, model development and validation, credit policy and process, and risk appetite statements.

Provide expertise in credit risk assessment, measurement, and management to clients in the banking and financial services industry.

Provide key support in other risk areas, including Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.

Develop and maintain credit risk models, including probability of default (PD), loss given default (LGD), and exposure at default (EAD) models.

Validate credit risk models and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with clients to develop and implement credit risk policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A graduate degree in a relevant field (e. g. , Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics) OR MBA from a Tier II or III college, CFA, or FRM certification is beneficial.

Able to analyze financial templates/ CMA and understand key financial ratios for credit underwriting.

Understanding the corporate credit underwriting process and understanding of corporate banking products.

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the risk domain.

Familiarity with credit risk concepts, including ECL, Capital computation, and credit risk modeling, Credit Policy and Process Review.

Familiarity with Market, Operational, Liquidity, and Interest Rate risk.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
